We do great work for our clients. Hear what they say about us …
My name is Peter Stewart and our family owns a grand old Canterbury homestead at Hororata. Our home is two storey, comprising of ten bedrooms, two lounges, two offices, a large dining room and kitchen. The house is built of timber and the weatherboards are New Zealand Rimu.
The homestead was severely shattered in the September earthquake, the centre of this earthquake was within five miles of our home. Three chimneys collapsed, one going through the ceiling of an office, the weatherboards moved and all internal walls had racked dramatically.
After the damage was assessed by the insurance company we were able to start re-strengthening, which included all internal cladding being removed, extra studs and plasterboard installed and the corrugated iron roof was replaced.
At the start of this major project I asked five companies to submit a price for these repairs. This included wallpapering, the stopping of plasterboard and repairing two outside sheds. PB Goosey Ltd was the successful tenderer.
I found Mr Goosey’s company to be very responsible, business like and truly professional. The repairs to the homestead was a huge responsibility for any contractor to undertake because of its age and wood panelling. The quality of these repairs is first class and I would have no hesitation in recommending PB Goosey Ltd to undertake any renovations that one would need.”

As the lead contractor / project manager appointed by Fletchers EQR for the repairs of our home in South Brighton, Paul Goosey not only delivered the goods, he also provided hope amongst the death and destruction that nature’s indifference bestowed upon us beginning in September 2010.
He possesses the ability to finish what he starts, and during it he displays a great tenacity, even during adversity and times of stress, in particular through the inevitable mountains of red tape that such a series of cataclysmic events would incur. Despite being put between the client and EQC, he was able to broker a wonderful relationship through diplomacy and good will, all the while making sure that all parties were able to speak freely and constructively to achieve a satisfactory and acceptable outcome.”

To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Paul Goosey for the past 26 years and I have engaged his services to renovate my houses in Christchurch and Ohoka during that time.
Recently I have engaged his company to carry out repairs of the EQC damage on my Ohoka property.
I currently supervise several farming properties and Paul has been engaged to carry out repairs on two of the houses.
I can thoroughly recommend P B Goosey Ltd as an experienced and thorough contactor which employs competent and efficient staff keen to satisfy the client.”

PB Goosey Ltd, recently completed the EQC repairs to our home. During this 11 week period, Simon the project manager, was in regular contact, keeping us informed of their progress. The Tradespeople involved took pride in their work and completed it to a high standard. More importantly they took care to respect our home. We are delighted with the end result and have no hesitation in referring PB Goosey to any future clients.”

We are fortunate enough to have our house finished by your company after the damage of the earthquake. All the work has been done to our complete satisfaction and delight. Your team of men and sub-contractors worked around us fantastically well and we only had to spend the minimum of time outside the house.
All our requests were met and we are very grateful for that. Dealings with Fletchers were excellent and we have been well-treated.
When you hear the stories that abound in the community it makes us realise how lucky we were. We hope all your customers have the same experience. Please pass on our thanks to all your team.”

Paul and his team spent approx. 4 months repairing my home post EQs from July-Nov 2012. I feel fortunate to have had such a professional and reliable team doing this work for me. Paul always kept me informed of progress and stopped to consult with me when unforeseen challenges arose and suggested best practice solutions. I have no hesitation recommending PB Goosey Ltd to others.”
